Australian Breakfast Compote Recipe

 Heart Healthy Recipe Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup Berries  
  • 2 cups Grapes
  • 2 Bananas - sliced
  • 2 Ripe oranges - in sections
  • 2 Ripe Apples - cubed
  • 1 Canteloupe - 1" cubes
  • 1 Honeydew - 1" cubes
  • 1/4 teaspoon Rose Water
  • 1/4 tablespoon Orange Blossom Water
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1/2 cup Orange Juice

 

Instructions:

  • Toss the fruit with a mixture of the rose water, orange blossom water, honey and orange juice. 
  • For special occasions or dessert, top the compote with 2 cups soy yogurt and
    2 tablespoons of honey.
