Cinnamon Raisin Bread Recipe


Heart Healthy Recipe Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 cups Flour - wholegrain wheat
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 cup Vital Wheat Gluten
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons Yeast
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Raisins

 Food Preparation Instructions:

  • Put first 6 ingredients in a bread machine.
  • Set for Specialty cycle (mix-in alarm).
  • When mix-in alarm sounds, add the cinnamon and raisins.
  • Toast and serve with apple butter (optional). 

 Low-Fat Breakfast Meal
