Herbed Brown Rice Recipe

Heart Healthy Recipe Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups Long-Grain Brown Rice
- 1/2 pound Mushrooms - sliced
- 2 cups Chicken Broth
- 3/4 cup Water
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 2 teaspoons fresh Thyme - minced
- 3 medium Green Onions - sliced
Food Preparation Instructions:
- Combine brown rice, mushrooms, chicken broth, water and
bay leaves in a
medium size baking dish.
- Cover and bake for 1hour 10 minutes at 350
- Remove from the oven and discard bay
- Stir in the fresh thyme.
- Top with sliced green onions.
