Oatmeal Banana Muffins Recipe

 Recipe Ingredients: 

  • 3 cups Whole Wheat Flour 
  • 3/4 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon 
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 Egg (or egg substitute)
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 1 1/2 cups  Lowfat Milk
  • 1 small Banana - cubed
  • 1/4 cup  Sunflower Seeds - toasted

 

Instructions:

  • Combine the flour, oats, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar in a bowl.  
  • Add the remaining ingredients and blend.  
  • Spoon into oiled muffin tins or paper muffin cups. 
  • Bake in a 375-degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes. 

Serves 12
